Yes Virginia, some coaches, athletes know what integrity is

A couple days again, one of my favorite people in the world - Kelcey Zutavern, the SID at Central Methodist (Mo.), tweeted this story, and I am so thankful she did.

In a week dominated by what seems to be the college athletics scandal du jour, it's refreshing to see a student-athlete and coach try to do what is right and make sure everyone has a level playing field.

I will let you read the story for yourself, but I only say this: it's nice to see sportsmanship, integrity and respect for others and for sport to reign supreme even if the mistake made is in one's favor.

And now, I will let Ron Morris, columnist for The State, tell you the story.
